Potential Bets for 11/6/24

Welp.

Warriors (+190) at Celtics (-6.5): Over/Under: 229.5

I will not be touching the line or Over/Under for this game, I think The Warriors can make this game close, and It would not shock me if they did. It would also not shock me if Boston came out on fire due to Steve Kerr not playing Jason Tatum much in the Olympics and the fact that even though Boston won the title last year, they lost the title on their floor to Golden State in 2022. What I will touch, is Over/Under 3 pointers. I think Draymond Green under .5 threes has a good shot of hitting. He has been very hot to start from beyond the arc, but I think that Boston will be able to play good enough defense on him to be able to pull his shots just a little bit. However, for Golden State to keep this game close they will need to get that scoring from somewhere else, and I think they get it from Andrew Wiggins, I would take him over on 3’s at 1.5 for -109.

NCAA Football: Northern Illinois (-1) at Western Michigan (+105)

This is a gut pick more than anything, I like the Northern Illinois spread, though. I think that the Huskies are a very balanced team, and I think that with their ability to attack you in multiple different ways, they have the ability to trick Western Michigan enough to win the game. I really like Northern Illinois running back Antario Brown, and I am looking for him to have a big game and improve the Huskies record to 5-4.

NCAAM: SIUE (+2500) at Indiana (-26.5): Over/Under 151.1

Hoosiers cover. In the early season for NCAA basketball, we see a ton of smaller matchups between David’s and Goliath’s. This is one of those for sure. If the Hoosiers are anything like they are historically, they will win this game and cover without even breaking a sweat. Crazier things have happened in the world of sports, but I would lean towards Hoosier’s spread.

Pick of the day (No parlay of the day today, I like all of these as straight bets)

I think the pick of the day today is going to have to be Draymond Green -.5 Three Pointers. I know, I know he is 10-17 to start the season, but that is where the money of the day is going to lie. The Warriors are going to need help from everyone if they want to beat the Celtics, and I think Draymond has the potential to change the way this game is played on the defensive end of the floor and with assist, and not necessarily scoring.
